Parisien Musings...

This is a simple scene out of my 5 day journey  in Paris after leaving Niger 2 go to Romania and re-visit childhood landscapes...

I could still remember that, while growing up in a small forgotten Romanian village, I fell in love with the French language and dreamed that one day I would see Paris, the city of Love as they call it, sharing the experience with someone very special.  That was the dream of a little girl in search of her cosmic identity... These days, I helped that little girl become the mere divine WITNESS of the beautiful manifestation of  her childhood dream unfolding before these eyes...

As I explained before in myblogs, each day I am practicing AWARENESS and Perception of Oneness, expanding my consciousness and my heart to love all forms flowing in and out of my Self, I am learning that this life becomes a dance of energy and joy through meditation, awareness and inner transformation.

WE are ALL we ever needed, the KINDGDOM of BLISS resides within. We simpy NEED a great desire to unlock the gates and ENTER in.

I had met my divine Parisien soul friend Salif at a kriya yoga retreat in India last year and I decided to email and ask if he could help me get a first glimpse of Paris ever... when he said yes, I never made plans, I simply had a few wishes for doing meditation together and visiting  powerful energy places such as  Amma's ashram and Ramakrishna's ashram in Gertz (outside Paris).  Our shared Parisien experience took a shape of its own according to our common interest in SEEING life with NEW eyes...

This is a small fragment of my ONENESS experience in Paris while joining Salif for long walks around the city...As soon as I set foot in the busy streets, I noticed that people were not smiling at all... I felt their struggle within me, but no matter how hard I tried to identify with their experience, my face still carried the joy and laughter of Divine Oneness...  I felt the motion, the waves carried in and out of the underlying ocean, I saw myself in the child who ran after pigeons in front of the Notre Dame Cathedral... I saw my own reflection in Salif's eyes seeing his own city in  a new light as I spoke my insights and perceptions out loud at times...'Why is it that people forgot to smile in this beautiful city?' I asked him repeatedly...Salif mentioned that the stress and everyday routine had turned all into robotic beings,it seemed.

Identifying with the drama of life emprisons one's soul to believe this is the true meaning of life and simply accept it as real.  When I looked around me  and saw streets flooding with the interesting mix of tourists and overworked Parisien faces I coud only hold within the smile of Niger in my soul... the beautiful souls of the West African landscape had shared with me the wealth of life residing within... I had watched them for months now walking barefoot in the hot sands, carrying heavy burdens on their heads and small children wrapped around their backs, yet their powerful smiles never parted from their lips no matter if there was food in their hand or not. I KNEW them within my own Self and was grateful to have been in their presence.

I  held their precious memory  alive while in Paris...  So, one of the 5 days I was merging with the Parisien dream, I decided I could do one thing to bring at least a couple of smiles out of the human mysterious chamber of gloominess...  As I was carrying two flower stems in my hand one evening after the group yoga meditation, I noticed a beautiful Parisien couple in the same subway car.  I knew I had to give them the flowers, one for each...so I decided to wait until either one of us was exiting the seats. At first I felt a bit strange for deciding to take this step, but then I remembered the invisible powerful impact of each simple act we do each day...

LIFE...It is ALL a beautiful RITUAL of LOVE if we could only SEE it... As soon as the young couple stood up, I approached the girl and whispered to her in French, 'C'est pour toi, Mademoiselle... and ceci est pour ton ami...' Then I smiled and stepped back from my role on this Parisien night subway stage. I sat down once again noticing the beating of my heart, the thrill of the joy-fullness inside... LOVE absolute does that...

My eyes then caught a quick glimpse of the most beautiful smile on the girl's face as she handed the other flower stem to her lover... My work was done, one more part of me learned to share a smile in Paris at night... HOW BEAUTIFUL!

Namaste,

Cezarina
